The Impact on Technology on Individuals, Households, and Businesses https://www.enostech.com/the-impact-on-technology-on-individuals-households-and-businesses/ https://www.enostech.com/the-impact-on-technology-on-individuals-households-and-businesses/#respond Wed, 20 Sep 2023 12:32:01 +0000 https://www.enostech.com/?p=41749 From the early days of the internet to the rapid expansion of the digital age, the tech industry has made many enticing pledges to consumers and businesses alike. These assurances included cheaper and more user-friendly alternatives to traditional services. However, the reality we find ourselves in today starkly contrasts with these promises.

Tech’s broken promises are not isolated incidents; they represent a pattern of expectations that have often fallen short. While technology has undeniably revolutionized many aspects of our lives, it has also ushered in unintended consequences.

Today, we explore one such consequence: the rising costs of modern tech services. And speaking of valuable offers, don’t forget to take advantage of Play Croco no deposit bonus codes during your gaming session to enhance your experience.

Significance of Rising Tech Costs

The significance of the rising costs of modern tech services cannot be overstated. It impacts not only our personal finances but also the way we conduct business and navigate the digital landscape. This shift has reshaped how we consume content, move around our cities, and store data.

The affordability and accessibility that technology once promised have been eroded by various factors, including hidden fees, subscription-based models, and intricate pricing structures. These changes have far-reaching consequences for individuals and households, who now must carefully manage their tech expenses.

Additionally, businesses must adapt to the evolving landscape, with cost considerations and customer experiences becoming increasingly complex.

Understanding the reasons behind these broken promises and the resulting challenges is crucial for consumers and industry stakeholders.

The Expensive Reality of Streaming Services

Initially, streaming services offered a budget-friendly alternative to traditional cable TV. Nevertheless, the situation today paints a different picture. The expense of subscribing to numerous streaming platforms can swiftly accumulate.

To illustrate, your monthly bill could match or surpass that of a standard cable TV package if you aimed to enjoy all the prominent streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and others. Not to mention that you will also need to pay about $50 for home internet.

In addition, streaming services often come with hidden costs that can catch consumers off guard. One example is the “premium tier” subscription plans that promise higher video quality, no ads, and the ability to watch on multiple devices simultaneously.

These premium tiers can significantly increase your monthly bill. Additionally, some streaming services offer add-ons like live TV packages, sports packages, or premium channels, further increasing the cost.

Ride-Sharing: Ubers Now as Pricey as Taxis

Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft initially promised cost savings compared to traditional taxis. They introduced competitive pricing and convenience. However, the pricing landscape has shifted over time.

One of the surprises passengers often encounter is surge pricing during peak hours or high-demand periods. When demand spikes, ride-sharing companies increase their fares significantly. This surge pricing can make ride-sharing services as expensive as or even more costly than traditional taxis.

Ride-sharing companies have also introduced loyalty programs and subscription services. While these may seem like cost-saving options, they often come with monthly fees or require you to commit to a certain number of rides, which can add up to more than the occasional taxi ride.

The Cloud’s Costly Transformation

Cloud computing was initially touted as a cost-effective way to store and access data. Companies promised scalability and affordability. However, the evolution of cloud services has revealed a different story.

Many cloud service providers now operate on a subscription-based model. While this allows for flexibility, it also means ongoing expenses that can accumulate over time. Data transfer costs and fees for accessing certain features can add to the overall expense.

Storing data in the cloud can become costly, especially as businesses generate and store vast amounts of information. Providers often charge based on the amount of data stored and the frequency of access. As data needs grow, scalability challenges can lead to growing expenses and complexity in managing cloud resources.

User Experience and Interface Complexity

What was once designed to simplify our lives can now overwhelm users with intricate interfaces and features. Streaming platforms, for example, often pack their user interfaces with content recommendations, personalized playlists, and numerous settings, making it challenging for users to navigate and find what they want to watch.

Managing Multiple Subscriptions and Accounts

The proliferation of tech services has also led to a new challenge: managing multiple subscriptions and accounts. From streaming platforms and cloud storage services to software subscriptions and mobile apps, individuals and households now juggle numerous accounts and payment schedules.

Keeping track of renewal dates, passwords, and billing information can be overwhelming, and the risk of overspending on unused subscriptions looms large.

Technical Troubleshooting and Customer Support Issues

Technical issues and glitches have also become more common. Users often encounter problems with software updates, compatibility, and connectivity.

While tech companies strive to offer customer support, the sheer volume of users and inquiries can lead to delays and frustrating experiences. This can be especially problematic when businesses rely on these services for their operations.

The Impact on Consumers and Businesses

Many consumers now need to allocate a significant portion of their budgets to cover expenses like streaming subscriptions, cloud storage, and software licenses. This can strain finances and require careful budgeting to ensure these services remain affordable.

Businesses, both small and large, are also affected by the increasing costs of tech services. Many rely on software subscriptions, cloud-based tools, and digital marketing services to operate efficiently. The rising prices of these services can impact a company’s bottom line, requiring adjustments to budgets and potentially affecting the competitiveness of the business.

In summary, technology has revolutionized our lives in numerous ways, yet it has not been without its share of hurdles. By promoting transparency, empowering consumers, and embracing inventive remedies, we can effectively address these challenges and maintain technology’s capacity to enhance our lives without burdening us financially.

As consumers and businesses increasingly seek enhanced value and simplicity, the tech industry must evolve to meet these demands.

The Power of Slots: Exploring the Trends in Online Gambling Sites https://www.enostech.com/the-power-of-slots-exploring-the-trends-in-online-gambling-sites/ https://www.enostech.com/the-power-of-slots-exploring-the-trends-in-online-gambling-sites/#respond Wed, 20 Sep 2023 12:18:54 +0000 https://www.enostech.com/?p=41745 In the ever-evolving world of online gambling, one of the most dynamic and popular forms of entertainment is slot machines. These digital one-armed bandits have come a long way from their humble beginnings, and today, they play a pivotal role in the success of online gambling sites. In this article, we’ll delve into the fascinating world of online slots, examining the latest trends that are reshaping the industry.

The Evolution of Online Slots

Slot machines, also known as fruit machines, pokies, or one-armed bandits, have been a staple of gambling establishments for over a century. The first mechanical slot machine was invented in the late 19th century, and it didn’t take long for them to make their way into casinos around the world.

The Digital Revolution

The digital revolution in the late 20th century paved the way for the transition of slot machines into the online realm. In the 1990s, the first online casinos started offering digital versions of traditional slot machines. These early online slots were simple, with basic graphics and limited gameplay options. However, they laid the foundation for the explosive growth of online slots that we see today.

The Rise of Online Slot Games

One of the key factors driving the popularity of online slot games is their accessibility and convenience. Players can now enjoy their favorite slots from the comfort of their own homes or on the go via mobile devices. This convenience has made online slots a preferred choice for many gamblers, especially those who may not have easy access to physical casinos.

Diverse Themes and Features

Online slot games have evolved far beyond the classic fruit symbols and simple gameplay. Today, players can choose from a vast array of themes and features, from ancient civilizations to outer space adventures. These diverse themes and features not only make the games more entertaining but also cater to a wide range of player preferences.

Trends in Online Slot Game Design

Modern online slot games boast stunning graphics and animation that rival those of video games. High-definition visuals, 3D animations, and immersive sound effects combine to create an engaging and visually appealing experience for players. This trend has significantly elevated the overall quality of online slot games.

Gamification Elements

Gamification elements have become increasingly common in online slot game design. This includes features like leveling up, completing missions, and unlocking rewards. These elements add an extra layer of excitement and engagement to the gameplay, keeping players coming back for more.

Innovative Bonus Features

One of the most popular trends in online slot games is the inclusion of innovative bonus features. Free spins and multipliers are now standard in many slots. These features not only increase the chances of winning but also add an extra thrill to the gameplay.

Progressive Jackpots

Progressive jackpots have long been a favorite among slot enthusiasts. These jackpots continue to grow until a lucky player hits the winning combination, sometimes reaching life-changing sums of money. The allure of a massive, ever-increasing jackpot is a powerful draw for many players.

The Role of Technology

The advent of smartphones and tablets has had a profound impact on the online gambling industry. Mobile gaming has become increasingly popular, and online slot games are no exception. Mobile-optimized slots provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for players on the go.

Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR)

The future of online slots may involve virtual reality and augmented reality technologies. These technologies have the potential to take the immersive experience of playing slots to a whole new level, allowing players to step into a virtual casino environment and interact with the game in unprecedented ways.

Responsible Gambling and Regulation

As online gambling continues to grow, responsible gambling measures have become a top priority for both operators and regulators. Online casinos are implementing tools and features to help players set limits on their spending and playtime, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable experience.

Regulatory Frameworks

Regulatory bodies around the world are tightening their oversight of online gambling sites to protect players and maintain the integrity of the industry. Compliance with these regulations is crucial for operators, and players are encouraged to choose licensed and reputable online casinos.

Conclusion

In conclusion, online slots have come a long way since their inception, evolving into a dynamic and thriving segment of the online gambling industry. With advanced graphics, innovative features, and the potential for virtual reality experiences on the horizon, the future looks bright for online slot games. However, it is essential to remember the importance of responsible gambling and adherence to regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable gaming experience for all.

But it’s not all silicon and software; the article emphasizes online poker’s pulsating heart – its global community. It’s an ode to strategy and the shared thrill of a gamble, catering not just to seasoned players but also to curious onlookers seeking to understand the hype. From strategic tips to a speculative gaze into poker’s future, every card is laid out. Ideal for enthusiasts, tech aficionados, and anyone keen on decoding the allure of this digital sensation, the piece promises insights, revelations, and a few aces up its sleeve. Dive in and uncover why online poker is the talk of the town.

Why is Online Poker Gaining Momentum?

Online poker’s surge in popularity could rival the gold rush of the 1800s, albeit in the digital domain. For starters, the convenience it offers is undeniable. Gone are the days of donning poker faces in dimly lit rooms. Now, every corner of your home can transform into a poker haven. Thanks to MGA casino sites, the experience is even richer. They offer a slew of games that cater to both rookies and seasoned players, all available with a click.

But it’s not just about easy access. The global reach of online platforms catapults players into a world where they’re pitted against diverse opponents. It’s no longer a game restricted by geography; the digital landscape bridges that gap. Picture this: a Swede, an Australian, and a Brazilian all at the same virtual table. Intriguing, isn’t it?

Moreover, MGA casino sites elevate trustworthiness. They’re not your run-of-the-mill platforms but ones that guarantee fairness. The blend of convenience, global reach, and trusted platforms makes online poker not just a game but a phenomenon.

The Mechanism: How Does Online Poker Work?

Delving into the digital domain of poker isn’t just about understanding the game; it’s also about grasping its modus operandi in the virtual world. The blend of slick interfaces and security assurances sets the stage for a seamless poker experience.

Fair Play Assurances

But beyond the glitz and glamor of the interface lies a foundation that’s integral to the world of online poker: trust. Digital Gaming Security: A Look at Trustworthy Online Casino Criteria is an emblem of assurance for players. Key components ensuring fair play include:

  • Random Number Generators (RNGs): These ensure that each card dealt is entirely random, imitating the unpredictability of shuffling a deck.
  • Encryption Protocols: Safeguarding personal and financial data, these protocols are the guardians of player information.
  • Regulatory Oversight: Reputable online poker sites seek licences from established regulatory bodies, ensuring adherence to stringent standards.
  • Player Protection Measures: From self-exclusion options to deposit limits, platforms prioritise player well-being.
  • Game Integrity Checks: Routine checks on the software ensure there’s no room for biases or malfunctions.

Trust is the bedrock of the virtual poker table. It’s the silent promise that each hand dealt is random, each bet is secure, and each win is legitimate. After all, in a game that thrives on strategy and skill, the only wildcard should be in the deck, not the platform.

The Digital Interface

The online poker realm is miles away from the rustic clatter of chips and the flick of cards on a felt table. Here, technology takes the lead. Visual designs come alive, replicating the casino experience, from the green digital tables to the animated shuffle of cards. But it’s not all for show. The user experience is at the forefront:

  • Responsiveness: Sites are tailored to be agile, ensuring smooth transitions, be it on a computer or mobile.
  • Player Features: In-game chat rooms, note-taking on opponents, and customisable avatars enhance the personal touch.
  • Game Variety: Whether it’s Texas Hold’em, Omaha, or Seven-card Stud, the digital interface caters to all preferences.

Screenshot 2023 09 20 125734 Copy

The Social Element: Making Friends and Foes Online

A misconception lingers around online poker: that it’s a solitary venture, devoid of the camaraderie found around physical tables. Yet, the truth couldn’t be more different. The virtual arena brims with interactions, reminiscent of a buzzing casino floor on a Saturday night.

Chat boxes aren’t merely tools for light banter; they become melting pots of culture, strategy discussions, and friendly jibes. You could be complimenting a fellow player from Japan on their bluffing skills one moment, and the next, engaging in a playful rivalry with someone from South Africa. The world shrinks, and borders blur, all on a digital green table.

But it’s not all roses. The same platform that allows friendships to bloom also fosters formidable rivalries. Spotting a recurring nemesis across multiple tournaments can stoke competitive fires. Just as alliances form, so do rivalries, with both players keenly observing each other’s tactics.

In essence, online poker isn’t a lonely card game on a screen. It’s a dynamic, pulsating community where relationships are forged, one hand at a time. Whether building alliances or sizing up adversaries, the social tapestry of online poker is as rich and varied as the game itself.

The Skill Set: Adapting to Digital Tables

Mastering online poker isn’t just about understanding the traditional rules; it’s also about adapting old strategies to the fast-paced digital arena. The challenges here are twofold: making split-second decisions and managing the hustle of multitabling.

Quick Decision Making

Online poker waits for no one. The rapid nature of the digital game demands swift thinking and even swifter action. Unlike the leisurely pace of a physical table, where players often indulge in prolonged contemplation, online platforms have timers. These ticking countdowns are relentless, pressing players into making decisions post-haste.

The ability to assess situations, predict opponents’ moves, and strategise in real-time becomes paramount. But it’s not just about speed. Precision is crucial. A rushed decision can be as detrimental as a wrong one. Balancing haste with accuracy is the real art.

Some key pointers for honing this skill include:

  1. Stay Focused: Eliminate distractions. Whether it’s a ringing phone or a TV show, a diverted mind can miss critical game details.
  2. Practice with Timed Games: Engage in poker games with shorter decision windows to train your brain for swiftness.
  3. Stay Calm: Panicking can cloud judgement. Breathe, think, and then act.

Screenshot 2023 09 20 125743 Copy

The Multitabling Skill

Venturing into the realm of multitabling is akin to a pianist playing multiple symphonies simultaneously. Players open multiple tables, juggling several poker hands at once. It’s thrilling, but it’s also a high-stakes juggling act.

For those adept at multitabling, the rewards can be lucrative. More tables mean more hands, which potentially translates to higher earnings. But the risks are equally magnified. A misstep on one table can have a domino effect on others.

To master multitabling, consider the following strategies:

  1. Start Small: Begin with two tables. As comfort grows, incrementally add more.
  2. Use Reliable Software: Opt for platforms that support seamless multitabling without glitches.
  3. Organise Screen Real Estate: Position tables effectively on the screen for easy monitoring.
  4. Set Priorities: Not all hands demand equal attention. Quickly ascertain which tables need immediate decisions.
  5. Know Your Limits: It’s tempting to open numerous tables, but self-awareness is key. Recognise when it becomes overwhelming and scale back.

In essence, the digital world of poker is not just about the cards you’re dealt but how you play them across the vast expanse of the online universe. It’s about agility, adaptability, and, most importantly, the courage to dive into the thrilling chaos of multitabling. The virtual felt awaits, but only those armed with the right skills truly thrive.

The Pros and Cons: Weighing Online Poker

Every coin has two sides, and the realm of online poker is no exception. Just as there are glowing advantages that draw players in, there are challenges that some find off-putting. Let’s explore both to paint a balanced picture of this digital phenomenon.

The Good:

Online poker’s allure is undeniable, with myriad reasons contributing to its burgeoning popularity. From convenience to flexibility, the digital platform offers a cocktail of benefits:

  • Accessibility: Play anytime, anywhere. Whether it’s a quick game during lunch or a long tournament into the wee hours, the online realm is always awake.
  • Variety: From Texas Hold’em to Razz, there’s a game for every enthusiast. This buffet of options isn’t always available at physical casinos.
  • Tournaments Galore: Frequent tournaments with varying buy-ins cater to both beginners and high-rollers. There’s always something on the calendar.
  • Anonymity: No need for poker faces here. The veil of the digital world offers a level of anonymity that some players relish.
  • Learning Opportunities: For newcomers, online platforms offer tutorials, free games, and low-stakes options to hone skills without heavy losses.

The Not-so-good:

Yet, for all its glitter, there are aspects of online poker that might not sit well with every enthusiast. These potential pitfalls merit consideration:

  • Faster Losses: The pace of online games, especially in turbo formats, can lead to rapid losses for players not on their A-game.
  • Lesser Social Interaction: While chat features exist, they can’t replace the face-to-face interactions and banter of a real-world casino.
  • Technical Glitches: A weak internet connection or software malfunction can abruptly disrupt a promising game.
  • Potential for Addiction: The 24/7 availability can be a double-edged sword, leading to excessive play and potential addiction for some.
  • Safety Concerns: While many platforms are secure, the internet’s vastness does have dubious sites. Players need to be vigilant about where they lay their bets.

Online poker, like any game or activity, is a blend of pros and cons. The onus is on the player to weigh these, decide what they value more, and play responsibly. Knowledge is the key: knowing the game, knowing the platform, and most importantly, knowing oneself. Armed with this, the digital poker table can be both thrilling and rewarding.

Tips and Tricks: Navigating the Virtual Tables

To conquer the digital poker landscape, a strategic approach is essential. Here’s a curation of top-notch tactics to help you maintain an edge at the virtual felt.

  • Maintain Discipline: One of online poker’s biggest temptations is playing too many hands. Stick to your strategy, and don’t be lured into every pot.
  • Manage Your Bankroll: Establish a clear budget for each session. This prevents getting caught up in the heat of the moment and making impulsive bets that exceed your comfort zone.
  • Observe Opponents: Just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean you can’t read them. Note their patterns, betting habits, and any tell-tale signs they might inadvertently reveal.
  • Use Software Aids: Take advantage of online tools like poker odds calculators to guide your decisions. However, ensure they’re allowed by the platform you’re using.
  • Stay Updated: The online poker realm evolves rapidly. Regularly update your game strategy, stay abreast of platform changes, and continuously learn to stay competitive.

In the world of online poker, a combination of skill, strategy, and astute observation sets the winners apart. By integrating these tried-and-true tactics, players can confidently navigate the virtual tables, poised for success.

Money Matters: Understanding Stakes and Winnings

In the captivating world of online poker, understanding the financial intricacies is paramount. From seamless digital transactions to maintaining a responsible approach, this section delves deep into the monetary aspects of the game, ensuring players are always one step ahead.

Digital Transactions:

Navigating the landscape of online poker inevitably means dealing with digital currency. These transactions are fast, efficient, and, with the right precautions, exceptionally secure. But what does one need to know?

  • Payment Methods: Most poker platforms support a plethora of payment gateways – credit and debit cards, e-wallets like PayPal and Skrill, bank transfers, and even cryptocurrencies. Choose a method that suits your convenience and the platform’s offerings.
  • Withdrawal Times: While deposits are typically instantaneous, withdrawals can take time, depending on the method and the platform’s policies. It’s essential to be aware of these timeframes to manage expectations.
  • Transaction Limits: Most sites have minimum and maximum limits for deposits and withdrawals. Familiarise yourself with these to avoid any surprises.
  • Security: Always ensure the platform uses high-end encryption for transactions. SSL certificates, third-party audits, and reputable payment gateways are markers of a secure environment.

Staying Responsible:

With the allure of big winnings and the thrill of the chase, online poker can be intoxicating. Yet, it’s crucial to play with a level head and a responsible attitude.

  1. Set a Budget: Before diving into a session, determine a fixed amount you’re willing to stake. It might sound rudimentary, but it’s a tried-and-true method to prevent overspending.
  2. Know When to Walk Away: A winning streak can be exhilarating, but so can the urge to chase losses. Recognise when emotions are running high and step back if necessary.
  3. Use Tools: Many platforms offer features like deposit limits, loss limits, and self-exclusion. Leverage these to keep your gaming habits in check.
  4. Educate Yourself: Be aware of the signs of gambling addiction. Continuous education and self-awareness are potent tools against falling into unhealthy patterns.

Can My Company Track My Laptop Location? https://www.enostech.com/can-my-company-track-my-laptop-location/ https://www.enostech.com/can-my-company-track-my-laptop-location/#respond Wed, 20 Sep 2023 11:50:13 +0000 https://www.enostech.com/?p=41734 With the rise of remote work, companies take several measures to ensure the productivity of their employees. The most common actions for this are monitoring user activity and tracking laptop location, whether company-issued or personal.

Employers do this to confirm the employee works at the allowed location(s) and doesn’t wander off to holiday destinations, chasing the digital nomad life without permission.

When working outside a particular area isn’t allowed, it can go against the company policies and result in termination. Also, an employee working outside the state or the country can create tax implications for the employer, among other things.

These are all legitimate reasons for employers. But at the same time, it’s natural for employees to contemplate the invasion of their privacy and personal space. In this article, we’ll cover companies tracking laptop locations, how they can do this, and the legal side of it.

Is It Possible for Companies to Track Location?

So, can your company track your laptop location? The answer is yes – your company can monitor your laptop’s whereabouts. Your company can use applications or track activities to determine location, even when using a personal device.

How Your Company Can Track Your Laptop Location

Now that you have an answer to your main question, here are the common ways companies track laptop location.

Mobile Device Management (MDM)

If you’re using a company-issued laptop, your employer is likely monitoring your location through mobile device management programs. These applications allow employers to monitor, manage, and secure corporate devices. While these programs can track locations, employers can also reset and recover devices to protect company data.

Most company laptops come with software like this pre-installed. Removing them will notify the admin, which can go against your company’s equipment use policies. It is advised to get permission from superiors before taking such action.

Contact the HR or IT department if you don’t know the administrator. Alternatively, you can make a reverse email search to find the administrator before reaching out to be better prepared.

Employee Tracking Applications

Besides MDM, companies can track laptop locations through employee tracking applications. These tracking applications use your laptop’s GPS and show real-time location.

Employee tracking applications reveal more than location. They can also monitor everything from the number of applications open, when they are opened, idle time, and even listen to your microphone.

Network Activity (IP Address)

An easy way companies track the location of a device is by checking the IP address. But this isn’t as accurate as others mentioned in this article. It can give wrong estimates if the laptop is connected to a VPN. Companies know this and often turn to more accurate ways to track laptop location.

However, IP addresses are often public. Your employer may use it to track your location without applications.

Is It Legal for Companies to Track Laptop Location?

Whether or not tracking laptop location is legal depends on the device you’re using. If it’s a personal device, companies can’t track location. That’s unless your work contract requires installing surveillance software. In these cases, your employer must get your consent to install location and activity tracking applications.

For devices distributed by the employer, companies have the advantage of monitoring activity and tracking location by law to ensure productivity and protect corporate data. Your company may also monitor emails, calls, and other activities performed on a work device. The law doesn’t require companies to get consent for these, but most companies do so anyway.

If you doubt your company is tracking your laptop location, inspect your job contract. Businesses must clearly state that the employee tracking software installed tracks laptop location. If the employer doesn’t reveal this and tracks the location of your personal device, it will breach employee privacy rights.

Again, employers aren’t required to do this for company-issued devices. They can monitor all activity, including location.

Know The Difference Between Monitoring and Spying

There isn’t a whole lot of privacy when it comes to company-owned devices. But there must be a clear line between monitoring/tracking and spying. Employers cannot access your microphone or camera outside working hours. If they are engaged in such wrongdoing, it’s a serious violation of employee privacy rights.

You should check your state’s laws, as privacy regulations can vary significantly depending on jurisdiction.

Moreover, tracking your laptop location is a standard measure for companies. It’s a way to ensure productivity and safeguard company property. If your company wants to track your laptop location, there aren’t many ways to avoid it.

Building relationships with your audience, nurturing prospects, and promoting affiliate products may all be accomplished with email marketing. But without the right tools, developing and managing an email campaign might take too much time and effort.

When you make a proper choice of an email marketing tool, developing mailing lists becomes easy. You can effortlessly organize, schedule, and fully automate your campaigns, which will increase your sales in the long run.

In this quick guide, we’ll go through the advantages of using email marketing tools — and the 5 best email marketing solutions to go for.

Key advantages of email marketing solutions

Email marketing has several advantages. First of all, a large audience is provided by the format. Currently, 4 billion people use email every day

Additionally, email provides one of the finest returns on investment (ROI) you’re ever going to uncover, generating an incredible $42 for every $1 invested.

The fact that 64% of small firms utilize email marketing to contact clients is therefore not surprising.

You may reach customers instantly and keep in touch with them by using email marketing. What’s more, recipients engage with emails more frequently than they do with other communication channels. Partially, this is because of the higher degree of personalization used in emails.

What makes email marketing important

As mentioned before, email marketing solutions provide several advantages.

This is because many creatives don’t have the time to invest in learning how to use an email marketing platform, and ConvertKit makes sending emails simple.

The software includes many appealing features, including effective tagging and segmentation and visual email automation. It is a reliable choice because it has a 99.7% email delivery rate.

In contrast to other tools, the ConvertKit email template library is modest. And unfortunately, there isn’t much mobile capability.

Key characteristics:

  • Templates for landing pages
  • Sign-up forms for email
  • Integration and automation capabilities

5. EmailOctopus

Few can match EmailOctopus in terms of affordability if you’re looking for such a solution. As a bridge, the platform connects users to Amazon’s Simple Email Service (SES).

Although Amazon SES touts exceptional delivery and value, Amazon hasn’t developed its campaign creation user interface yet. Each campaign, content modification, and email sequence must therefore be handled as a development activity. This can take up unnecessary time and resources if you’re not a developer.

This issue is resolved by EmailOctopus by utilizing Amazon SES and providing you with its advantages together with an easy-to-use user interface (UI). Although simplicity is a benefit, this tool’s lack of complex functionality is a drawback.

Key characteristics:

  • Standardized email templates
  • Drag-and-drop constructor
  • Automation of email

Wrapping up

Your internet business’s success depends on the effectiveness of your email marketing tools. You may reach out to people at every level of the sales funnel with their assistance and effortlessly build your marketing list. You may save time, money, and effort by selecting the best email marketing tool.

In conclusion, the top 5 email marketing tools are as follows:

  1. Omnisend: Overall good for e-commerce.
  2. Selzy: A versatile cross-industry service.
  3. Mailchimp: A well-known all-purpose choice.
  4. ConvertKit: A great tool for content producers.

darkFlash Twister DX360 V2.6 White Liquid Cooler Review https://www.enostech.com/darkflash-twister-dx360-v2-6-review/ https://www.enostech.com/darkflash-twister-dx360-v2-6-review/#respond Wed, 20 Sep 2023 10:15:10 +0000 https://www.enostech.com/?p=41677 Introduction

We have earlier tested DC Radiant 240 from darkFlash and this budget cooler got our praise. This time we are taking a look at the Twister 2.6 DC36 White edition from the same manufacturer. This is a 360mm version and this version is compatible with Intel LGA1700 and AMD AM5 sockets. We have got a white color edition which looks quite pleasing.

Key features include:

  • Redesign water pump infinity mirror with 360-degree rotation
  • Cooling fans are synchronizable with most motherboards.
  • Dense liquid channels for a better cooling effect.
  • Supports both Intel and AMD
  • TDP: 285W

I am a bit surprised to see that darkFlash rated the 240mm version for 270W TDP and this 360mm version is rated for a mere 285W. This makes me think that DC Radiant is actually their new generation compared to Twister.

Item:                     Twister DX360 V2.6 White

Price:                    PKR 25000

Twister DX360 V2.6 Specifications

Packaging and Unboxing

wister DX360 V2.6 box

The cooler is shipped inside a cardboard packing box. darkFlash has emphasized two key changes over here. One is the compatibility with the Intel LGA1700 and the AMD AM5 sockets. The second is a rotatable pump top in 360° rotation so that the darkFlash logo remains upright.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Packing Box 2

Infinity 8 ARGB PWM Fans caught my attention while I was looking at the backside. What is Infinity 8? I don’t know. What I know is that there is an infinity mirror effect on the center of these fans which gives quite a cool look to the unit. darkFlash has listed more features of the unit over here.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Packing Box 3

There is another container inside the main box. The main cooler and the contents are placed in this container for safe and sound shipping.

Accessories

Let’s see what accessories are provided.

wister DX360 V2.6 installation guide

There is a printed user guide. I did not check it since the mounting mechanism of this cooler is the same as is on the DC Radiant 240.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Mounting Hardware

The mounting hardware is provided inside a transparent container. 360 is labeled on top of this container indicating that it is for the 360mm size cooler.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Intel

There are:

  • 4x Intel LGA 115x Standoff Screws
  • 1x Intel Backplate
  • 4x Intel Thumb Nuts
  • 4x Intel LGA1700 Standoff Screws
  • 4x Intel LGA20xx Standoff Screws
  • 4x Intel LGA1700 Washers (Not in the Picture)

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Mounting Bracket

There are two mounting brackets for the pump housing.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White AMD

There are two AMD mounting brackets and two screws. There are 12x fan screws and 12 radiator screws.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Controller

There is a 3-port fan hub included as well. This port has 3x 4-pin PWM ports.

Closer Look

Let’s take a look at the unit starting with the radiator.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Radiator 1

This cooler has a 360mm size and comes with a radiator having a dimension of 394x120x27mm. Here 27mm is the thickness of this unit. Installing a 120x25mm fan would make this thickness 53mm or so including the thickness of the screw head. The complete assembly is white color coated. The fin density is 20 FPI. There are 12 channels for coolant flow. There is a gap of 105mm between two mounting holes at opposite ends. There is a gap of 15mm between two adjacent mounting holes.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Radiator 2

The far end or block has rounded corners to my liking. It has a thin profile which is obvious and more of a standard design. There is no sticker or label of any sort over here.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Radiator 3

The overall fin stacking job is satisfactory as we did not find any bend or broken fin.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Radiator 4

Looking at the tube side of the radiator, we can see a serial number sticker or label however you name it. White color metallic covers hide the connections. There is a warranty void sticker over another port cover. Possibly this port is reserved for factory use and tampering with it may lose the vacuum pressure of the loop.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Radiator 5

There is a darkFlash text in a white color on the side frame. This frame is riveted to the main housing. There is a gap between side frame and actual fin stack implying that thickness of fin stack is less than 27mm.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Radiator 6

darkFlash uses rubber tubes. These have nylon braided mesh sleeves over them. These tubes have a length of 400mm. These tubes are not that flexible.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Block 1

The pump housing is made of plastic material and it is in a ring or circular design. It has a dimension of 78.5x70x54mm. There is a dual-chamber sort of design. The top chamber can be rotated. There is a thick diffuser separating the top portion from the lower portion. The top portion has an infinity mirror effect with a darkFlash brand logo whereas the lower chamber has a pump and cooling block.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Block 2

The above picture shows the top view of this block. It has a high glossy finish and is fingerprint magnet.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Block 3

There is no branding or styling on any side of this housing.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Block 4

Looking at the main frame from the front, we can see flat cables coming from the upper base. The majority of the AIOs have these cables coming out from the tube end of the block and that makes the cable management easier than this way.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Block 6

There is a 3-pin connector on a cable powering the pump. There are standard 3-pin, 5V ARGB connectors for the ARGB LEDs. This makes the Twister DX360 V2.6 compatible with the RGB sync technology of major motherboard manufacturers. The pump is rated for 2700 ± 10% RPM. It is rated for 12VDC.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Block 7

There are two more cables coming out from the base. One is the SATA connector and the other is the RESET SW label connector cable. Both are optional. These cables would be needed in case your motherboard does not have a 5V, 3-pin ARGB header, in which case you would have to sacrifice the reset connector on the front panel of your PC Case by connecting it to this connector and powering this connection using SATA. This will enable the pre-programmed ARGB modes allowing the users to still enjoy lighting effects.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White ARGB Control

The above picture is taken from darkFlash website and it highlights the same what we have described above.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Block 5

The backside of this housing has 90° right-angled fittings on which the tubes are connected. They can be moved towards the right and left depending on the requirement. darkFlash has used metallic clamps to conceal the connection. There is a copper base on this unit measuring 55x55mm. The mounting brackets are installed on the housing using 4x screws.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Fa n1

There are three 120mm A-RGB fans that come with this cooler. Unlike the DC Radiant cooler, these fans don’t come pre-installed. Each fan has 9 blades. There is a darkFlash branding on the hub. Hub has a large size diameter because it has A-RGB LEDs and it has an infinity mirror design as well. This is something new to me. Overall, this cooler is quite something to look for. There are cut-to-size anti-vibration pads on the mounting corners.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Fan 3

We could not find the arrow symbols that help the novice user identify the direction in which the blades would spin and the direction of airflow through the fan. There is a stylish striped design on the sides.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Fan 2

There is a 6-arms assembly on the backside. There are two arms extended from one arm that catches the wires passing from the hub towards the frame. The fans are made in China. There is no power rating printed over here.

darkFlash Twister 2.6 DX360 White Fan 4

darkFlash is using standard ARGB connectors which is a wise move. The fan’s power cable has a 4-pin PWM connector. Salient specifications are:

Installation

We are not covering the details of installation. Please refer to the online user guide for detailed instructions about installing this cooler. We did not notice any observation during the installation.

RGB Lighting

Since darkFlash is using standard RGB connectors, the A-RGB lighting is compatible with RGB sync technologies of motherboard manufacturers. We have tested on GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS ELITE AX motherboard using RGB FUSION 2.0 app and it was found working fine. The lighting solution is compatible with:

  • ASUS AURA SYNC
  • ASRock POLYCHROME SYNC
  • GIGABYTE RGB FUSION 2.0
  • MSI MYSTIC LIGHTING SYNC

Here are a few pictures:

Thermal Testing

We have used the following configuration for testing:

  • Intel Core i7 13700k
  • GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS ELITE AX
  • Kingston Fury DDR5 32GB @ 6400MHz CAS 32
  • Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus 2TB NVMe SSD [For OS]
  • GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3060 VISION OC
  • Be quiet! Straight Power 11 850W Platinum PSU
  • Thermaltake Core P6 TG Snow Edition in an open frame layout

The test table for Intel core i7 13700k is:

Clocks Auto, Stock
Voltage Auto, Stock
Power Limits Removed
C-States Disabled
Speed Step Disabled
Rest of settings Stock, Auto
XMP XMP Loaded where available
Thermal Paste Alphacool Subzero
Thermal Paste Application X pattern
Headers CPU_FAN, CPU_OPT, and PUMP Headers
Stress Software CINEBENCH R23.2
Stress Run Time 30 minutes
PC Idle Time 5 minutes
Monitoring Software HWInfo64
OC Tool Intel XTU

We have seen AMD AM5 and Intel Alder Lake S CPUs taking more power and this time both sides have aimed at reaching the maximum clocks regardless of thermal limit. In fact, the AM5 SKUs will run into thermal limits right away depending on the cooling solution and the clocks being used. This has made testing of CPU coolers challenging because viewers/readers are not used to a new nomenclature which is what clocks are sustained under a given load using a particular cooler. That is if the cooler is capable of providing enough cooling head to sustain the high frequencies at high package power. Among other reasons is the high thermal density of these new CPUs. Traditionally we are used to going the other way around that is which cooler is better in terms of thermal capacity. Despite this, we are using temperatures as a base for measuring this unit.

The ambient temperature was 27°C. We are reporting absolute temperatures in the graph. The testing is done on an open-air bench system. Once inside the chassis, the temperatures are expected to rise and would largely depend upon the optimal airflow inside the chassis.

Disclaimer: Every silicon is different hence no two same SKUs are likely to take same voltage to yield same performance at same thermals per se but margin would be close. Not every stress test run may yield the same result which could be due to various reasons like thermal paste application, ambient temperature variation, mounting pressure of the cooler, etc. This is why we have listed our variables and their settings. Let’s take a look at the results.

Result

Thermal Performance Intel core i7 13700k 1

The darkFlash Twister DX360 V2.6 has performed quite well beating the ID-COOLING DASHFLOW 360 XT LITE WHITE by 1°C though this is a marginal takeover. In fact, both coolers are in the same thermal performance range. This is where the darkFlash cooler has a distinct advantage because of its price. It is retailing at PKR 25,000/- whereas the ID-COOLING cooler will be released at 36,500/-.

Noise

This cooler was loud making 55 dB(A) at an ambient of 32 dB(A).

Conclusion

We have tested a 360mm cooler from darkFlash named Twister DX360 V2.6. The version 2.6 is latest and supports Intel LGA1700 and AMD AM5. In addition to this support, the block of this cooler has a rotatable top cover which is a wise decision by the manufacturer. The radiator is made of aluminum material and has a dimension of 394x120x27mm. The total thickness of this unit would be near 53mm or so including the thickness of the fan screw head. Since this is a white edition, the complete assembly is spray color coated in white color.  There are 12 coolant flow channels and fin density stands at 20 FPI. The connections are concealed using white color clamps. The rubber tubes have nylon braided sleeves that run to 400mm in length.

The block has a circular design with a dual chamber design. The top portion houses ARGB LEDs and an infinity mirror finish with a darkFalsh logo on the top. Speaking of the top, it has a glossy finish. Handle it with care since it is a fingerprint magnet. There is a backlit diffuser running across the borderline between the top and the bottom chamber. The lower chamber has a pump and cold plate. We only know that the pump runs at a maximum of 2700 RPM ± 10% at 12VDC. I hope that the pump is using ceramic bearing but can’t confirm since there is no data available. The copper base roughly measures 55×55. The pump is powered by a cable having a 3-pin connector. The ARGB LEDs are powered by standard 3-pin, 5V connectors that make this cooler compatible with the RGB sync technology of major motherboard manufacturers. There are two more cables as well. One is SATA and the other has a large-size connector. These are optional and would come in handy for users who have motherboards without ARGB headers. Those users can optionally sacrifice the reset functionality of their PC Case by connecting the front panel’s reset connector to this header/connector of the cooler and powering it using the SATA cable. Using the pre-programmed RGB modes, one can still enjoy the lighting effects. I am not sure if this is a cost-effective measure or something but it is better than those dedicated ARGB controllers that need to be placed inside the case and there is no access to them. On the other hand, there is no alternative to a proper ARGB controller.

darkFlash has provided three 120mm ARGB fans in white color with this cooler. Each fan has 9 blades. These fans are using Rifle bearings. Their rated speed is between 800 and 1800 RPM generating airflow of 51 CFM ± 10% at a static pressure rating of 1.5 mmH₂O at 12VDC. These fans have a sound output rating of 32 dB(A) ± 10%. Their life span is 30,000 hours MTTF. They have a 4-pin PWM connector and standard 3-pin, 5V ARGB connectors for daisy-chaining. I appreciate the use of standard connectors. There is no 3-way PWM splitter cable. Instead, there is a fan hub included in the box. This is a fancy way of doing the same thing.

We have tested this cooler on the Intel platform on the LGA1700 socket. The installation on the LGA1700 socket is simple and it requires 15 items to complete the block’s installation on the CPU. However, cable management would be challenging because cables are coming out of the pump housing from the front side. The top cover is rotatable hence the orientation of the installation is not an issue.

This cooler is retailing in the local market of Pakistan at a price of PKR 25,000 at the time of this writing. This is competitive and budget-friendly pricing. darkFlash is offering a 3-year warranty on this cooler. This cooler has actually managed to beat the expensive ID-COOLING DASHFLOW 360 XT LITE WHITE that is expected to be released at PKR 36500. The darkFlash Twister DX360 V2.6 white is an effective cooling solution in its price range competing quite well and comes recommended by us.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White User Guide

ID-COOLING has provided a user guide and they have failed to mention simple information that the pump cover is removable and how to remove it. There is no mention of it in the user guide. You can scan a label and watch a YouTube video about the installation. Ok, sure but why did you not mention it in the user guide where you are precisely mentioning the fan screws and radiator screws. Enlighten me!

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Controller

ID-COOLING has provided a dedicated A-RGB controller with this cooler. It is powered by a SATA connector. It has a 3-pin, 5V male connector on the other end. There are three buttons on this controller. M button cycles through the pre-programmed modes. The S button controls the speed of the dynamic modes. The c button changes the colors in static mode.

Closer Look

It is time to take a closer look at each component of the main unit starting with the radiator.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Radiator 1

This unit has a 360mm size radiator having a dimension of 396x120x27mm. Here 27mm refers to the thickness of this unit. When you will install 120x25mm fans on this unit, the overall thickness would come to 53mm approximately if we count the head thickness of the screw. This unit is made of aluminum material and has a standard fin stacking. Overall fin stacking job is done satisfactorily. There is a standard 105mm gap between two opposite fan mounting holes and 15mm spacing between any two adjacent fan mounting holes. We count 12 channels through which the coolant flows. The complete assembly has a white color spray paint job. The radiator has a 20 FPI count.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Radiator 2

Looking at the far end of the radiator, it has a rectangular outlook and there is no branding of any sort.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Radiator 3

Looking at the near end of the block where the tubes make a connection with the radiator, the connection is well concealed using white color clamps. There is a serial number label pasted between the tube connections.

ID-COOLING DASHFLOW 360 XT LITE WHITE

Looking at the side of the radiator, there is a stylish DASHFLOW label in the center of the frame. We can see the rubber tubes as well. These are covered under the nylon braided white color sleeves. These tubes run approximately 465mm in length.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Block 1

Now it is time to take a look at the main attraction of this cooler which is the block on the DASHFLOW 360 XT LITE WHITE cooler. This block has a dimension of 94x90x62mm (LxWxH). This is quite a large size block compared to other regular-design liquid coolers in the market. It has a height of 62mm. We can see a fan embedded in the housing under the top cover. The top cover is removable ID-COOLING has forgotten to mention anywhere. The white color gives a dope look to this unit and we admire the design.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Block 2

Now we are looking at one side of the block. There is nothing fancy here and I like how ID-COOLING has kept it simple and plain here. Pay attention to guide vanes here. This is where the air will come out from the embedded fan and will be blown out towards the VRM and near the socket area of the motherboard. This is wisely done by ID-COOLING. I made this observation when reviewing GAMDIAS Chione P3 360U AIO. There are no guided vanes and the cutouts are way up top on the block of the GAMDIAS cooler that it would hardly reach the VRMs. This is not the case with the ID-COOLING cooler.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Block 3

We are looking at the rear of the unit. There are 90° adapters on which the tubes are installed. They can be rotated (limited movement) like any other AIO in the market. We can see flat white color cables coming out from the upper section of the base.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Block 4

The pump is powered by a 4-pin PWM connector.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Block 5

The embedded fan is powered by a 4-pin PWM connector which is another positive of this cooler. There is a socket as well to which the pump’s connector can be connected optionally. There are standard 3-pin 5V A-RGB connectors for daisy-chain capability.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Aluminum Cover

So, it happens that ID-COOLING has mentioned that the pump cover is made of aluminum. It not only adds to the look but has a better thermal conductivity. THEY ARE HALF WRONG.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Block 8

Take a look at the pump cover. It is made of plastic material and there is nothing aluminum about it. And even if it was made of aluminum, what part of it would have conducted heat from where? ID-COOLING, your Marketing department needs to clear some air.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Block 7

Now we are showing the embedded fan itself. It is rested right on the pump. This is in part a good move as it would throw fresh air on the pump housing and blow out heat from the warm housing towards the near socket components of the motherboard. There are screws and screws all around. We did not proceed with further dismantling though.

This fan has 11 blades and has the ID-COLING brand logo in the center. There is a ring around the fan itself. This ring has A-RGB LEDs for some lighting effects. The fan’s dimension is 70x70x15mm. Its rated speed is 800 to 2800 ± 10% RPM. Its static pressure rating at 12VDC is 1.90mmH₂O and an airflow rating of 23 CFM with 28 dB(A) noise output. It takes 0.08A. It has a ball bearing.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Block 6

There is a black color steel plate that sits on top of the copper base plate. We can see two standoffs on this plate which are the terminating ends of the spring-loaded screws. The large-size copper base measures approximately 54x60mm. ID-COOLING has mentioned that copper fin stack density is 0.2mm.

Speaking of the pump, it has a ceramic bearing and is rated for 0 to 2500 RPM. Its power rating is 0.32A at 12VDC. The operating voltage range is 10.8 to 13.2 VDC. Its started voltage is 7VDC with an input power of 3W. The flow rate is mentioned to be 135 L/H.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Fan 1

There are 3x non-RGB white color fans provided with this cooler. These fans combined with the block give this unit quite a good look that is augmented by the white color. Each fan has 7 blades. The center still has relatively a larger diameter and there is a brand logo over it. There are large-size anti-vibration pads on the mounting corners. We have observed that these pads come off when fans are installed on the radiator due to the pressure of the screws. The hint is not to over-tighten the screws. Everything about these fans is white.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Fan 3

These fans have a square frame though this is not a closed-frame design. We could not spot arrow directions on the frame. These directions provide a visual aid to novice users in determining the direction in which the blades would spin and the direction of airflow through the fans.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Fan 2

Looking at the backside of the fan, we can see a 4-arms assembly holding the blades and the center. One of the arms is widened to carry the cables. There is a sticker in the center with the power rating of the fan. The fan is made in China.

ID Cooling DASHFLOW 360 XT Lite White Fan 4

Each fan is powered by a flat cable having a 4-pin PWM connector and a 3-pin socket to daisy-chain the connection.

The specifications of the fans are:

Dimension 120x120x25mm
Speed 500±200~2000RPM ±10%
Static Pressure 2.68mmH₂O
Noise 29.85 dBA
Air Flow 78.25CFM
Bearing FDB
Connector 4-pin PWM
Starting Voltage 7V
Current 0.25A

RGB Lighting

The only element that has A-RGB LEDs is the embedded fan on the block. It has a ring around it that has those LEDs. ID-COOLING is using standard connectors that would work with the RGB sync technology of motherboard manufacturers. Here are a few pictures from the GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS ELITE AX based setup using RGB FUSION 2.0 app.

Installation

We are no longer providing installation steps since the user guide is there for that matter. We only mention observations recorded during installation. The only observation we have about this cooler about its installation is the inability of ID-COOLING to clearly and precisely mention taking the pump cover off in the user manual. You have to lift it off. Yes, you may have to apply some pressure the first time as well but it should come off without removing any screw. Other than that, installation is straightforward and there is no clearance issue either. You have to ensure that your case has clearance and support for a 360mm AIO mount.

Thermal Test

We have used the following Intel-based configuration:

  • Intel Core i7 13700k
  • GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS Elite AX
  • Kingston Fury Renegade DDR5 32GB 6400MHZ @ CAS32
  • GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3060 VISION OC
  • Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus 2TB NVMe SSD [For OS]
  • Be Quiet! Straight Power 11 1000W Platinum
  • Thermaltake Core P6 TG Snow Edition in an open frame layout

Below is the settings table:

All Cores Auto
VCore (V) Auto
Power Limits Removed
Thermal Paste Alphacool Sub-Zero
Test Run Time 30 minutes CINEBENCH R23.2
Idle Time 10 minutes
Fan/Pump Speed 100% PWM Duty Cycle
Monitoring Software HWInfo64

Disclaimer: Every silicon is different hence no two SKUs are likely to take the same voltage to yield the same performance at the same thermals per se but the margin would be close. Not every stress test run may yield the same result which could be due to various reasons like thermal paste application, ambient temperature variation, the mounting pressure of the cooler, etc. This is why we have listed our variables and their settings. Variables not mentioned are on the Auto setting. The ambient temperature was 27°C.

Result

Thermal Performance Intel core i7 13700k

There is a 1°C difference between the darkFlash and ID-COOLING cooler that hardly makes either cooler a winner on this platform much thanks to the thermal behavior of this platform. Speaking of which, this is a good performance from both coolers. Here is the summary showing a marginally better performance from the dark flash cooler.

Temperature CINEBENCH Score (Multi-Core)
ID-COOLING DASHFLOW 360 XT LITE WHITE 90°C 29491
darkFlash Twister 360 V2.6 White 89°C 29769

Noise

We measured roughly 54 dB(A) at an ambient sound level of 32 dB(A). There was a whining noise from the block at regular intervals.

Conclusion

ID-COOLING is releasing a new cooler in the market named DASHFLOW 360 XT LITE. This will be available in white and black editions. This is a light version of the DASHFLOW 360 XT with some key differences that are beyond the scope of this content though we have mentioned a few in the introduction. We have tested the DASHFLOW 360 XT LITE WHITE edition. Performance and everything aside, the outlook and aesthetics alone on this cooler are quite appealing and look that good in person. This cooler is compatible with Intel LGA1700/1200/115x/20xx and AMD AM4/AM5 sockets hence we have universal compatibility for now.

Having a 360mm size means it comes with three 120mm fans. The radiator is made of aluminum material and the complete assembly is white color spray painted. The dimension of this radiator is 396x120x27mm (LxWxH). After installing 120x25mm fans, the overall height of the unit would come to 54mm approximately including the heads of screws. It has 12 channels for coolant flow and has a fin density of 12 FPI. ID-COOLING uses rubber-tubing which runs to 465mm in length and has a white color nylon braided sleeve mesh for aesthetics and preventing bending. One good thing about the design is that the clamps concealing the tube connection with the radiator are also white.

Coming to the block itself, man, this is something to speak of. I am sure there will be many other good-looking liquid coolers out there but this design is out of this world for its bold simplicity. ID-COOLING has done a marvelous job here. But like it is said, nothing is perfect, someone from their marketing has wrongly mentioned the pump cover as made of aluminum whereas it is made of plastic material. This is not all, as they have mentioned aluminum having a good thermal conductivity helping heat transfer from the pump. Yes, aluminum has a better thermal conductivity rating but there is no part in the pump housing that has aluminum. At least nothing there passed my magnetic test. There is a plate between the pump and copper block that could look aluminum but it is a magnet lover; there is to that.

I digress, coming back to the main topic, there is an embedded fan having 11 blades measuring 70x70x15mm. It has a rated speed of 800 to 2800 ± 10% RPM and a static pressure rating of  1.90mmH₂O with an airflow rating of 23 CFM at 12VDC. The maximum noise rating is 28 dB(A). It takes 0.08A and has a ball bearing. What I love is how the airflow is directed. This fan takes fresh air through the open area of the top cover and directs it towards the pump housing. There are guided vanes at the bottom of the housing through which the air is exhausted. Going this route, this fan also helps to keep the pump somewhat cool. Having guided vanes at the base ensures that the embedded fan serves its purpose of spreading air towards the near socket area of the motherboard. Job well done, team ID-COOLING though I did not measure the exact impact on the VRM thermals. The pump on this unit uses a three-phase motor for efficient coolant flow. It has a ceramic bearing and is rated for 0 to 2500 RPM. Its power rating is 0.32A at 12VDC. The operating voltage range is 10.8 to 13.2 VDC. Its started voltage is 7VDC with an input power of 3W. The flow rate is mentioned to be 135 L/H. The copper base measures 54x60mm approximately.

ID-COOLING has provided three non-RGB white color fans with this cooler. These fans are using Fluid Dynamic Bearings. This is among the key differences between the DASHFLOW XT V2 and the DASHFLOW XT LITE where the predecessor is using double ball bearings. Each fan has 7 blades. There are large-size anti-vibration pads. Each fan has a flat cable with a 4-pin PWM connector and a 3-pin socket to daisy-chain the fans and connect them to a single header on the motherboard. These fans are rated for a maximum of 2000 RPM±10% speed. The static pressure rating is 2.68 mmH₂O and the airflow rating is 78.25CFM at 12VDC. They use 0.25A.

The only element in this cooler that has A-RGB LEDs is the block. There is a ring surrounding the embedded fan. ID-COOLING has wisely provided standard RGB connectors making it compatible with the RGB sync technology of motherboard manufacturers. They have also provided a dedicated controller that is SATA-powered and has a simple control interface using three buttons. It is pre-programmed. Speaking of the installation, our only observation is that the manual does not speak of how to remove the top cover on the block whereas they have emphasized the fan screws and radiator screws. Installation itself is easier and straightforward. We have tested the cooler on the Intel Z790 platform where a total of 11 items are required to install the block only.

ID-COOLING will release the DASHFLOW 360 XT LITE WHITE in the International market at an MSRP of USD $129 and 36500 PKR in Pakistan. They have informed us that this cooler will come with a 5-year warranty. In our testing of this cooler on Intel’s 13th generation platform, it has managed to handle 250W load and taming the CPU at 90°C at an ambient of 27°C. This is a nice performance from this cooler in its price range.
